Giro d'Ialia 1943 - Tour of War
The tour was suspended in 1941 because of the war events of the Second World War. It revived in 1943 through the formula of ranking points awarded according to the order of arrival of the ten trials. The first in the classification wore the Pink Jersey, while the first of the isolates wore the White Jersey. After four races the Giro was suspended because of the war.
